Plus we can be super thrifty. I get almost everything used. I shop thrift stores, garage sales, Facebook marketplace and free stuff on the curb. You can get some nice stuff either cheap or free that way so it looks like you have your shit together even though you still make next to nothing. People assume I make good money based on my clothes but I haven't bought new clothes in a long time. I've simply learned how to fake having money.
